Flowery Branch Chiropractic is a wellness based family practice focused on safe, effective and long-lasting care to help patients regain their spinal health. Dr. Christopher A. Turner is a graduate of Life University College of Chiropractic and has practiced in Georgia since graduation in 1996. His undergraduate degree is in chemistry from Emory University.

Serving an eight-year active duty military career prior to Chiropractic College, Dr. Chris is a veteran of the first Gulf War. Since then he has been active in various civic organizations including Veterans of Foreign Wars, Rotary International, and the Knights of Columbus. He serves as Lector in the parish of Prince of Peace, Flowery Branch. Dr. Chris is currently involved as a trained adult leader in Boy Scouts.

Dr. Chris has extensive postgraduate training in multiple adjusting techniques (Activator/Impulse Instrument/Extremity manipulation) and treatment strategies. He is Master Certified in the Spinal Institute of San Diego for Whiplash/auto injury management.

Dr. Tanya G. Turner is a graduate of Life University’s College of Chiropractic where she completed her Doctorate in 1996. She graduated from the City University of New York’s Queens College with a Bachelor in both Food and Nutrition for the Dietician and Theater Dance. Dr. Tanya completed the coursework in the Master’s program for Sports Health Science in 1997 at Life University.

Dr. Tanya has extensive post graduate training to include pediatrics and pregnancy, sports care injury, nutritional evaluation and corrective supplementation and anti-aging techniques. She received a certification in Advanced Applied Clinical Nutrition from Texas Chiropractic College in 2010 and a Master certification in Whiplash and Spinal Injury.

Dr. Tanya has worked as a nutrition counselor, personal trainer, fitness consultant and a dance and aerobics instructor. Dr. Tanya is an accomplished speaker and is available to speak to the community on a variety of health related topics.

On her down time, Dr. Tanya is very involved in her community and home life. She has served on the board for Fifth Row Center Theatre Company. She is involved in the Partners in Education programs with the local elementary schools where she volunteers her time to help with the enrichment programs. She volunteers at her church as a lay minister and catechist (Sunday School teacher). She loves to exercise, travel but most importantly keep up with her two high energy boys; Gregory and Joey.
