We install both our 5″ and 6″ gutter systems with aluminum hidden hangers spaced every two lineal feet using a #10 1-1/2″ pre-waxed screw. This larger and longer than normal screw will guarantee its stability, and the wax coating makes installation easier without damage to the fascia board. We discontinued the use of the #8 screws due to breakage.
