Come and enjoy your next event in Birmingham Alabama’s Historic Woodrow Hall event space! Great for weddings, corporate events, and reunions! We have nearly 5000 sq feet in our main foyer/banquet area and a second banquet hall of nearly 2000 sq feet. With high beamed ceilings, exposed brick walls, original touches and plenty of charm, you can be assured your event will be memorable.

Woodrow Hall is a historic building with two separate banquet halls. Built in 1914, this building underwent extensive restoration over a 2 year period which restored its vintage charm and added modern touches like a wonderful sound system, LCD projector, plasma TV and more. We are one of the more desirable wedding venues in Birmingham because of our excellent service and value!

It’s a very rare occasion when you can get a business owner to take your occasion and put time, dedication and love into it as if it’s their own. This awesome dedication and passion is what I have witnessed time and time again from Mrs. Princess E. Holmes, owner of Woodrow Hall. I have had the pleasure, personally of just putting it all in Mrs. Holmes hands and letting her work her magic. Mrs. Holmes was there for my sister and I when we were broken and hurting badly. She took the information she needed and planned a homegoing celebration for our brother that was beyond words. We did not have to deal with the stress of how to give our brother the beautiful send off that he deserved. Her words were “Don’t worry about this part, I’ll take it from here.” During such a dark time in our lives she brought much needed solace.

Woodrow Hall is a place but, Mrs. Princess Holmes and staff have made a lot of magical moments for so many people and their special days and occasions.
I enjoy going to events at Woodrow Hall because I know it’s going to be different, beautiful and well planned. Mrs. Holmes passion shows when you walk into Woodrow Hall. It’s an older building that has been brought back to life through the love and passion of what Mrs. Princess Holmes loves to do.

I really loved everything. The cake, food, decorations, Everything. They were very kind and they made my special day very special. It was like a scene out of a movie. Book with them. They’re really a one stop shop.

Princess and Tammy made sure our day went well!! Of all of the venues that we looked at this was the right choice!! From the very first meeting Tammy assured me that I would not have to worry about anything!! I initially wanted to decorate my own wedding/reception. So when we were looking at venues, I was looking to rent it for the entire weekend to make sure that I could get it done. Tammy basically told me “no!” It was going to be my day and I didn’t need to be worrying about all of that! Lol!! For that I am forever grateful, because it was silly of me to think that I could decorate, flip, breakdown or whatever else my own wedding/reception and do it to perfection. Tammy was literally my “peace blocker,” as she stated. If it was going to disturb my peace, she wasn’t going to let it get past her!! Princess did her big one with the decor, food and cake!! What I asked for, she did (drapes for entrance) and I just allowed her to use her creative talent to do her! I’ve thanked y’all a million times!! But I’m glad we chose Woodrow Hall and I’m glad that Princess and Tammy chose us!
