William J. Bose, MD

Having studied and treated orthopaedic ailments for the last twenty-five years, Dr. William J. Bose, M.D., is a very experienced orthopaedic surgeon specializing in knee, shoulder and hip surgery. He performs both arthroscopies of the shoulder, hip and knee as well as shoulder, hip and knee and shoulder replacements in the Gulf Coast area.

In 2006, he successfully opened his own solo practice, called Advanced Orthopaedics, LLC, in Mobile, AL. In addition to his practice, he serves as a consultant for Exactech, Inc., both working with their research and design teams to develop cutting edge hip and knee instrumentation systems and traveling internationally as a physician instructor for total knee replacement surgeries.

He has also has consulted for Wright Medical Technology, helping to design PATH Hip Instrumentation and Pre-op CT Navigation for Total Knee Arthroplasty and serving as a physician instructor for total hip and knee replacement surgeries. He performs many minimally invasive technique provides patients with reduced postoperative pain and recovery time.

Dr. Bose also specializes in sports medicine, using his extensive experience in arthroscopic procedures to treat injuries such as hip injuries such as femoro-acetabularacetaular impingement (FAI), shoulder injuries such as SLAP tears and rotator cuff tears, and knee injuries such as ACL and meniscus tears.
