Tate Furniture

Tate Furniture started as a family-owned furniture store in 1983 in the historic Old Townhouse in Phenix City. The store has grown alongside the Phenix City, Alabama and Columbus, Georgia communities and is now large enough to serve the entire East Alabama and West Georgia region, providing quality name-brand furniture and home accessories at the lowest possible prices.

In January 2005, Tate Furniture introduced an exciting new shopping experience at its beautiful new extra-large showroom in the former Walmart building on the 280 Bypass. At 86,000 square feet, Tate Furniture has become one of the largest furniture stores in the Southeast United States. The store is now a direct dealer of the complete line of Ashley Furniture and offers a vast array of bedrooms, living rooms, dining rooms, home offices, mattresses, accent furniture, area rugs and accessories in an assortment of styles.
