“Dr. Bennett attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham for her undergraduate and medical degrees. As an undergraduate, Dr. Bennett was a collegiate athlete, playing on the UAB Division 1 NCAA softball team.

During her residency at the University of Florida College of Medicine in Jacksonville, FL, Dr. Bennett was a four-time recipient of the Golden Apple Award as well as the College of Medicine Excellence in Student Education Award in recognition of outstanding participation and achievement in medical student education.”
