St. Vincent’s Health System, based in Birmingham, Alabama, United States is an operator of acute care hospitals located in the Birmingham area and a health ministry of Ascension Health. St. Vincent’s Health System, which is a part of Ascension, will offer outpatient services at a new location in Trussville. The facility, built by Harbert Realty Services, will include diagnostics, a primary care practice, after hours care, wellness services, physical therapy and a number of specialist physician practices.

St. Vincent’s Health System is now the first and only health system in the area to provide a navigator to guide patients through joint replacement surgery. Our nurse navigator supports patients every step of the joint replacement process from pre-surgery to full recovery. I visited Southview Medical, Dr Allen in building 3 suite 300… This is an easy building to get in and out of… They have valet parking so you pull up to door/curb, give them your phone number, keys, and $8 plus tip, and they send you a text with ticket number and walk in straight to office suite… Then you check-in on portal or with receptionist and head to doctor area for check-in with nurse… Wait just a few minutes and you are called to room for service… Whole process took right an hour and that even included a stop by lab for blood work… I don’t like driving an hour to see a doctor but when it’s necessary then you do what you have to do
