Niles Prestage owned a carpet store on the memorial parkway in Huntsville where the store is located now. On the weekends Niles would conduct furniture auctions in his building, he got the furniture from companies that went out of business in the area. Realizing there was no one in the North Alabama area doing the same, the idea came to Niles. to start a furniture store, thus leading to the foundation of starting his new company, Office Furniture Outlet!
