I consulted with many different law firms for my complex custody case and went with Kris at NXTSTEP and it was one of the best decisions of my life. Kris and her team not only won both my cases, but made sure I was well informed and comfortable with each step of the plan, which they immediately laid out with me after my consultation. After hiring Kris, I found out why she is one of the best lawyers in the South and well known for her profession. She fought hard and we won big. Kris helped guide me successfully through a pair of extremely difficult and tumultuous child custody and divorce lawsuits. Kris’s wise counsel, advice, and great communication at critical junctures helped bring peace and confidence to an otherwise chaotic set of circumstances! When the situation required quick responses to situations, or a motion to be filed, she was always on top of the situation. I always felt like I had someone in my corner that was ethical, very knowledgeable of legal precedent and Alabama statutes, and fair in giving a fair assessment of the situation at any given point in time. I truly credit Kris’s wise decisions to helping make my home life more stable and safe.
