Masterminds Tutoring has provided convenient, individualized tutoring services to middle and high school students in Birmingham, AL for over 15 years. We’re the area’s only locally owned in-home tutoring company. Our tutoring philosophy is “keep it simple.” Instead of forcing your child into the mold of a cookie-cutter curriculum or complicated tutoring plan, our hand-picked tutors focus on your student’s immediate academic struggles and work from there. “Unlike classroom teachers, your tutors are able to adapt to my child’s learning style and teach at her pace.”

We can send a qualified tutor to your home, the closest library, the Starbucks down the street, or wherever is most convenient for you. We don’t require any commitments, contracts, or minimum number of sessions. You’re free to schedule tutoring whenever it would benefit your student. We serve the following communities in Jefferson and Shelby County: Birmingham, Vestavia Hills, Hoover, Mountain Brook, Homewood, Cahaba Heights, Liberty Park, Inverness, Greystone, Meadowbrook and the Highway 280 area.
