The Doctors Parker established and opened Madison Eye Care Center in October 2001. As the practice continued to grow,they were honored to have Dr. Jennifer Newby join their staff as an associate in July 2007, and Dr. Tracy Swartz in April 2013. Drs. David and Michele Parker & Staff invite you to visit their practice.

They provide comprehensive primary eye care including: treatment & management of ocular disease and emergencies, dilated exams to monitor for ocular manifestations of systemic disease, such as diabetes and hypertension, pre and post-operative LASIK and cataract surgical care, and contact lens fitting and care.

Dr. David is from Aliceville, AL (west central Alabama) and graduated valedictorian of his class at Pickens Academy in 1993. Dr. Michele is from Huntsville and graduated from Grissom High School in 1993. Dr. Newby is also a Huntsville native and a 1999 graduate of Grissom High School.

Both Drs. Parker and Dr. Newby are graduates of Auburn University and the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry. Dr. Swartz is a native of Wisconsin and received her undergraduate, Doctor of Optometry and Master of Science degrees from Indiana University.

Staff and doctors are wonderful! Exams are very thorough, and they are great at explanations. They take very good care of you! Also, there is an extensive selection of glasses and sunglasses.

I highly recommend Madison Eye Care! My entire family goes here for eye exams and eye glasses purchases. They have a great staff, very friendly and helpful, the exams are extensive and they make sure to keep you updated on your eye health. I have a problem with my eyes that can change as I age and the doctors have kept on top of it. We have purchased glasses and they have the top brands and great selection in just about any style you are looking for. My daughter has broken her glasses on multiple occasions, and without an appointment they have assisted me each time.

Dr. Parker was able to fit RGP contacts and provide a glasses prescription so that I can see perfectly clearly. I like the option to use modern diagnostics to avoid the need for dilation.
