Jim Lawrence, Keith Arendall and Maurice Humphries founded Lawrence-Arendall-Humphries Real Estate, Inc. in the spring of 1992. Today the company has grown to become Birmingham’s largest locally-owned real estate company with over 220 associates. In the fall of 2011, Tom Carruthers, Mike Graham, Charles Robinson and Maurice Humphries acquired the ownership interest of Lawrence and Arendall.
