Welcome to La Petite Academy educational daycare in Birmingham, AL! My name is Dawn Summerford and I am the interim director. I have 20 years of experience in child care and early childhood education. Our school offers Infant Care, Private Preschool, After-School Care and other age-specific programs.

We have warm, loving teachers who share in the education and growth of the children placed in our care. They participate in training throughout the year to stay current in the field of early childhood education. Everyone involved in our school is an extension of our own families.

We strive to create a welcoming environment and maintain an open-door policy for anyone who would like to talk.
