ITEC’s physicians and staff are dedicated to the most important person in our office… our patient.

Our goal is to provide quality, specialized medical and surgical eye care to all ages. Pre-school children to senior citizens need periodic medical eye examinations by an ophthalmologist to preserve sight through prevention and early detection. ITEC also offers a full service contact lens department. It is very important that a contact lens be custom fit to your eye. ITEC offers specialty lenses for medical problems as well.

Went for a cataract consult and it was very pleasant! Everyone was so nice! The front desk people were very helpful and Dr Murphy was great. Person that checked me out wasn’t very friendly but definitely the best experience at any office in town since I moved here!

My vision insurance company called to give information concerning my coverage. Anita in the insurance department talked to her very nasty and unprofessional and she also refused to complete the information she gave her about my coverage. If she was having a bad day, she need to remember how she receives her check.

I went to them and was told I had cataracts in my eyes which is true. I work at place where I look at computer screens for 8 hours a day and it messes with my vision sometimes to where I can’t see. I also wake up in the morning and can’t see enough to drive and the doctor there told me that it was not a medical enough reason for me to ask my job for intermittent leave. Basically he is saying that he doesn’t care about my life and the lives of others on the road. Moral of the story I left their office in tears.

I drove an hour and a half to be rushed through the eye exam. The tech rushed through different lenses on the machine and the vision chart was still blurred to me. I told her this and she just stopped and said Dr would be in shortly. Then the Dr came in he told me I just needed reading glasses. I told him the chart was still blurred to me. He wrote a pair of precision glasses and told me I could pay $400 for a pair of prescription glasses or $1 for other glasses. I wasn’t given paperwork when I left. Just a prescription and a pair of sunglasses. The office manager was very rude when I spoke to her on the phone and she was very rude and unprofessional. The staff and Dr there are rude and rush you out of the the door. I will not be going back nor would i refer anyone to them. Now i have to make an appointment see another dr to have my eyes checked again.

Bad, place for eye care, staff seems very unconcerned about your sight, dumping medication in your eyes.And don’t explain nothing. Eyes was dried out, for a month. Make them explain, what they are doing, Never again..
