Alabama born and in practice since 1989, Dr. Mick is one of the first American born doctors of acupuncture and Oriental medicine in the country having training in the U.S., Europe and China. After completing a bachelors degree in pre-med health sciences on the East coast, masters and doctoral degrees in acupuncture and Oriental medicine on the West coast, Dr. Mick worked as an acupuncture intern at two TCM university hospitals in China.

Since 1989, patients have trusted the practice with evidence-based natural healthcare using natural modern and traditional methods, such as acupuncture, naturopathy, Chinese and Western herbal treatments, manual therapies and nutritional medicine. Dr. Mick is a doctor of acupuncture and natural medicine with extensive graduate training in numerous naturopathic therapies and offers them as part of his natural medicine practice. He works with both kids and adults of all ages.

I sing their praises to everyone I meet who is complaining of sports injuries and pain. I’m an avid runner and active in the events around Huntsville. Dr. Mick helped me with my plantar fasciitis heel pain and other things too. I know other friends that have seen him or taken their kids to see him for football and soccer injuries, strains and sprains. He does different types of hands-on therapies that works great with acupuncture or cold laser treatments so it isn’t like you get poked with needles and he just leaves you there. I is a way more than that. Super sports medicine care without drugs or surgery. Plus the doctor is a life-long older athlete too
