Our hospital provides a wide range of physical rehabilitation services, a vast network of highly skilled, independent private practice physicians and HealthSouth therapists and nurses, and the most innovative equipment and rehabilitation technology, ensuring that all patients have access to the highest quality care.

Designed with our patient’s care in mind, HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of North Alabama offers 15 semi-private and 40 private rooms with televisions, telephones and wireless internet capabilities. n addition to caring for general rehabilitation diagnoses such as orthopedic, neurological disorders (Parkinson’s, multiple sclerosis), amputation, cardiac, pulmonary disease and multi-trauma, HealthSouth of North Alabama has specialized inpatient programs for stroke, brain injury and fractured hip patients.

This 53,500-square-foot hospital serves patients throughout north Alabama and south central Tennessee and is located at 107 Governors Drive, in Huntsville Alabama. Rehabilitation is covered in full or part by most health insurance plans, including Medicare. The hospital has contracts with most major insurance companies and is willing to negotiate with other companies as needed.
