Fero Italian Restaurant

You need to go to Fero as soon as possible. This upscale Italian dining spot in downtown Birmingham is about to be discovered and it will be packed soon! The word is getting out about this great choice for fine dining downtown.

It is located in the Pizitz food hall. There is indoor and patio dining available. Parking is free for the first two hours in the nearby deck, or there is optional valet parking as well. Reservations and walk-ins are available, but I recommend the reservation as this venue is gaining in popularity. You will most likely be greeted by the owner, Charles or one of the managers. Everyone there wants to make your dining experience a special one.

There is an inventive appetizer selection. The entrees are changed seasonally. The desserts change as well. The pastas are all made in house. If you are dining at the bar, you will find the bartender and social media manager, Tim, to be very knowledgeable about all of the menu items as well as suggesting pairings for the menu selections. This is a perfect place for a special event as an anniversary or birthday or just a night out for a nice dinner.

It is not a large venue, and we were able to have a comfortable conversation with the couple that went with us. Put this on your list of dining venues when you are in the downtown area of Birmingham.
