Dr. Vitkin's Weight Loss Clinic

Michael Vitkin, M.D., completed a Family Practice Residency program at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Gadsden, Alabama (affiliated with University of Alabama School of Medicine, Birmingham, AL) and was certified in 1981. Dr. Vitkin has devoted his practice full-time to the treatment of obesity since 1985. He is a member of the American Society of Bariatric Physicians and the North American Society for the Study of Obesity. He has trained numerous physicians in the practice of Bariatric (weight loss) Medicine.
