Dr. James Beretta, P.C.

Dr. James Beretta is a Lincoln, Rhode Island native who earned his degree in osteopathic medicine from Southeastern University. He went on to complete his internship at Atlantic City Medical Center in Atlantic City, New Jersey. He completed his Anesthesia residency at University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey where he was Chief Resident.

Dr Beretta also completed a fellowship in pain management at The Univ. of Mass Medical Center Worchester, Massachusetts. Dr. Beretta is board certified in Anesthesia and Pain Management. He began practicing pain management in 1992. His practice focuses on interventional techniques, including injections, kyphoplasty procedures, and spinal cord stimulators, as well as worker’s compensation claims.

At Dr. James Beretta, PC, we are committed to providing quality pain treatment options including medical management and procedural techniques. We follow the standards provided by the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, The American Board of Pain Medicine and the International Spinal Injection Society. Here, we strongly believe that a clear diagnosis should be established to provide the most cost effective treatment.

In our office surgery facility, we perform the same high quality procedures done at a hospital or surgery center–without the high facility fees. We treat our pain patients with the dignity and respect that they deserve. All appointments are made by physician referral only. Patient compliance is important and is monitored through data bank and laboratory drug screening.
