Dr. David P. Herrick, MD

Dr. Herrick is the founding member of the Center for Pain which began in 1997. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology in both Anesthesiology and Pain Management. He is active in organized medicine and currently serves on the Alabama Board of Medical Examiners, a position he has held since 2004.

Dr. Herrick is the 150th president of the Medical Association of the State of Alabama. His undergraduate degree is from Auburn University and his medical degree was attained at The University of Alabama, Birmingham, which he attended on a United States Air Force scholarship. Dr. Herrick spent three years on active duty attaining the rank of Major. He is an Eagle Scout.
