CARES Health Services is an independent Outpatient Physical and Occupational Therapy clinic where “caring makes the difference”. Our therapists enjoy working with people due to Sport Related Injuries, Joint Injuries or Repairs, Arthritis, Pain, Balance or Gait Deficits and Neuropathy. We have therapists trained to perform McKenzie Mechanical Diagnosis & Treatment of the Spine.

Our facility specializes in the treatment of Lymphedema, Edema and Edema related Wounds resulting from surgery, trauma or vascular diseases. CARES is the only freestanding lymphedema clinic in the Mobile and surrounding Gulf Coast region. We are staffed by Certified Lymphedema Therapists, Certified Compression Garment Fitters and Certified Mastectomy Prosthesis and Bra fitters.

We provided in one location lymphedema management from start to finish including education/ prevention, bandaging supplies, skin care/ infection prevention, wound care, manual lymphatic drainage and compression garment fittings. We provide Cancer Related Weakness and Post-Mastectomy Shoulder Rehab following all precautions to decrease risk of exercise related complications.

We can fit your unique needs with Post-mastectomy garments and supplies or specialty support bras, Compression Sleeves, Hose, Socks, Supplies and Custom Garments. You can walk-in for compression garments but if you want or need individual fittings, an appointment would be best.
