When I first purchased my home in Mountain Brook/Crestline, they repaired all my sheetrock, added crown moulding, and painted the entire interior of my home and performed a complete tear off on my roof and repaired the decking and put on new shingles. I was so happy with their work! They actually finished on time and on budget and left my home and my yard extremely clean. I was so pleased that I hired them again last month to renovate my kitchen and my foyer. They finished in 4 days, and I just love to sit and stare at the completed work! I highly recommend B&B! They are polite, clean, courteous, and very detail oriented. I will definitely use them again for my next project!

In addition his crew was superior- polite , clean, always smiling and respecting our home: I returned home from work late one night( 10 PM) and found 2 of Vance’s crew members helping my husband fix a major water leak in our side yard( nothing to do with their work) they made several trips to home depot and worked by flashlight: corrected the problem-refused to take money- just plain good people!!
we have a second list of changes to our home and there is no question we will return to Vance Ballard B&B Construction.

I contacted Vance about some exterior maintenance and the larger job of painting my interior and making my home more handicapped-accessible for my mother. The work has been fast and of excellent quality, and we have enjoyed having Juan in our home and appreciate that he cleaned up so well when he was finished.
Additionally, Vance was able to recommend many alternatives to lower cost, as well as special touches that would make my mother even more mobile around the house.
We asked for a very special project for our back stairs that included a removable wheelchair ramp. We wanted to keep the originals stairs intact, and make sure that they had their own matching railings. Mike the welder did a beautiful job fulfilling our request, and now we have a ramp that can be removed, leaving the stairs intact.
We are extremely pleased, and I will definitely hire B&B again!
