Born and raised in the wiregrass, Ms. Marshall graduated from Crenshaw Christian Academy in 2002. After high school she attended the University of Alabama and served as Head Judicial Board Officer over recruitment for Panhellenic Association, and was a member of Student Government Association, Student Alumni Association, Alpha Gamma Delta, Phi Alpha Theta and Sigma Tau Delta. She also served as Athletic Hostess for the Alabama Crimson Tide football, baseball, gymnastics, and basketball teams. She graduated with honors and later attended Birmingham School of Law while both interning and clerking at two law firms. After graduation, Ms. Marshall moved to Alaska where she worked for the US Army in the office of the Judge Advocate General providing advice on all civil, criminal, and employment-related issues. She was selected into the IMCOM Pacific Region Mentoring Program and received two Civilian Medal of Achievement awards.
