Advanced Transmission specializes in custom built, high performance, personal use, and commercial use transmission repair, with nationwide warranties on most of their work. Locally owned and operated, they can give their customers personalized service, with a feeling of pride for a job well done. Advanced Transmission, Inc. has been in business for 20 years. However the owner and lead technician, Marvin Wilson has 33 years experience in the transmission industry. His late father, Woody Wilson, owned and operated his own shop for 35 years where Marvin got an early start as a young boy. Through the guidance of Marvin’s father, God, and the best work team you could ask for, they provide the community with superior quality transmission repair, while maintaining integrity, honesty, and pride in their work.

Advanced Transmission, Inc. pledges to all of their customers that they will not remove a transmission from a vehicle in order to complete a repair unless absolutely necessary. Additionally their shop promises to diagnose transmission problems for all of our local and surrounding area customers in an honest and expert manner. I posted a review and some how placed Advice transmissions name in place of Mavis tire company I’m very sorry for the confusion but I’m very glad that the owner is a very intelligent and understanding Man that politely sent me a message to let me know that I had posted the wrong name of the shop my deepest apology to Advance transmissions owner, employees, and to all the consumers and customers, im very sorry for the confusion and mix up.

My initial phone call with Jonathan impressed me with his knowledge and experience of the problem we were experiencing with our transmission. Advanced Transmission was the only repair facility I contacted that gave me a comfort level that they could complete the overhaul successfully.

Advanced Transmission quoted me a price range and time during the initial call based on my description of the symptoms. Upon their initial test drive and inspection, Jonathan’s initial diagnosis was confirmed. The repair was completed in the low end of the initial quoted time frame and for a price well within the initial quoted price range.

The car was picked up two days ago and is performing great. I highly recommend Advanced Transmission for anyone in need of transmission repair. Their customer service is second to none. Knowledge, experience, friendly atmosphere, honoring commitments to price and time. It doesn’t get any better than this.

Very helpful, professional and honest service. They were able to diagnose the issue I was having with my Honda Civic and fix it so that now my car is running like new. This shop was recommended to me and I have already recommend them to others.
