Woods-McKay Seafood Wings and Southern Cuisine is the long time vision of a true southern cook who grew up on a farm in Covington Georgia. Lucille’s adventure began as a child watching and helping her mother and aunts cook food for their large family. Lucille also loved to help in the kitchen of her grandparent’s home as all the cousins’ aunts and uncles gathered the first Sunday of each month for dinner after church.

With the influence and support of Lucille’s husband Van and family she decided to step out on faith and open a restaurant. After finding the perfect location in her home town of Covington Georgia a vision came fourth. The dream of a place where you can indulge in good old fashion southern cooking along with versions of the same foods cooked in a more healthy fashion was born.
