Window World was founded in 1995 by Leon Whitworth. The office was a small roadside stand in Wilmington, NC. It didn’t look like much but, Leon had big plans for this company. He wasn’t going to be like everyone else in the home improvement business. He wasn’t going to do things like they had always been done. A slick salesman shows up at your house, gives a three hour presentation, starts his price at $1,000 or even $1,200 per window, creates bogus discounts, and tries to high pressure you into paying ridiculously high prices. The other end of the spectrum is the guy who has cheap prices along with an inferior product that won’t last very long.

Leon knew to be successful he couldn’t do any of these things. The Window World way would be simple, provide superior products, installed by professional craftsmen, with guaranteed low prices, simply the best for less. What more could anyone want?

Window World partnered itself with the best window manufacturers in the world. They use state of the art equipment and only the best materials available.

Now…
That small roadside stand has now grown into almost 220 Window World offices in 46 states, and is still growing. We are now the largest home improvement company in America. Each location is locally owned and operated. This insures each customer that his or her project gets the individual attention it deserves. Our owners and their personnel receive in depth training on a monthly basis to keep them on the leading edge of the industry. I can’t say enough for Crew 6, Jason, Edwin, Brian and Mynor. I had 11 windows installed last year with Jason’s crew. They did an outstanding job, I requested Jason and his crew again to install my other 11 windows which were installed today. Very professional, courteous

This my 2nd purchase with Window World. First was in 2013. I had an issue with a window they replaced the sash after 9 years, no questions asked. Had 17 windows installed today the crew showed up on time and courteous explains everything they were doing. Did a great job of installing and cleaning up. Very happy with Window World and would recommend them.

Our Sales guy, Keith, was very knowledgeable and helped us make sure we were selecting the right windows for our house without upselling us or pressuring us. Leo and his crew were very efficient an quick with the install. They did a great job cleaning up after installation as well! We can actually see through our windows again, thanks Window World!

Initially, we had set up three appointments for estimates on replacing all our windows. After meeting Chuck from Window World of Atlanta and seeing his super-sharp presentation, we called off our other two appointments. We’re so glad we did! Window World’s fantastic crew, headed by Leo, just left our house looking better than we could have imagined. Suffice it to say that Leo and his well-trained, congenial and professional installers exceeded our expectations. Leo even went out of his way to point out and recommend solutions to a problem with one of our skylights that we had been unaware of. We couldn’t be happier with our durable, beautiful new windows, which were flawlessly installed two weeks earlier than promised. Cameron Moore was such a knowledgeable salesman and was able to get me and my family exactly what we needed for our home. He was able to get us one heck of a deal with top notch quality products with life time warranties! Cameron did a fantastic job. I would highly recommend this salesman! He is very customer oriented, and you can tell he really cares about his customers! We recently used Window World for a complete window replacement of our home, and we were extremely pleased with their product and service. Sales Consultant Paul Salazar was very knowledgeable about their product, showed us samples, and answered all of our questions. We placed our order, and our windows arrived in 11 weeks. Igor and his installation crew did an excellent job removing the old windows and installing the new ones. We are thrilled with our new windows. Wonderful experience! – The crew were scheduled to be out for installation 12-2pm, and arrived earlier, even gave me a call to let me know they were about 45 minutes out. The crew was fast and cleaned up nicely. The lead crew member came inside, verified how many windows I had, took me around to each window and helped me remove pictures, etc. so not to damage anything – he was very thorough. After the install he came back inside to show me how to open each window, showed me where the serial numbers were and explained the warranty to me. After signing, he asked many times if I had any other questions. I made final payment with them over the phone easily. We had 24 windows replaced, the entire house, and I could tell the difference in noise reduction immediately upon install of my office bedroom windows. We went with the mid-grade low-E, and from the outside looking in there is a nice dark tint to the windows we didn’t have before, it seems much more private. Two of our windows (the kitchen and master bath) were taken down from two double hung to one sliding, and they are marvelous! I’m so glad I went with Window World – all of the others I had quotes done with were double the price, and their sales people were super pushy and annoying. Our Window World sales gentlemen was helpful if anything else. I recommend them to anyone replacing windows.

Window world is a great family owned business! I would only recommend windows through this business! They do beautiful work and also have over the top customer service, not to mention my wife loves the grid pattern of the window. Also shout out to Kayla Edwards best employee by far!

From start (talking with a rep at a home improvement show) to finish (installation this week) our experience with Window World was great! Their price quote was significantly lower than that of a competitor. After the sales rep came out to measure the windows, we received the quote soon thereafter. Windows were ready for installation about 6 weeks after contract was signed. Customer service worked with us to find a good time for installation. The workers, who are not company employees per se, arrived on time and efficiently removed the very old windows and replaced them with the Window World ones. The windows look fantastic!

Extremely satisfied with my windows purchase! Very professional employees. Sales rep. Thomas Richardson was the best. No high pressure sales. When I encounter that, a company usually loses me right there. He is an expert on your product. Although, the windows do speak for themselves. They really are that good. We’ve only had the windows two days and I can already notice less temperature fluctuation there so well insulated (we live in an 80’s built home which had wooden sash windows). The install crew was on time, skilled, and completed install of fifteen windows in about five hours. Field supervisor Russell called upon arrival of crew to see if I had any questions or concerns. Then, he called again once install was completed. This is how you run a business. Very satisfied customer, David.

About two months ago I purchased a property and two of the windows in that house were damaged. Those windows brand is “Window World” and that’s why I called them. Mr. Jordan Brown, ( Who was my contact with the company), was no just knowledgeable and effective, but the way they treat their costumers is beyond excellent !!!
Windows World replaced my sashes WITHOUT COST !!!
They have my business for life !!!

From the gentleman that first came to give us an estimate to the final installation Window World was excellent. The windows were the same price no matter what the size and we had some very large windows. They said it would take 12 weeks and they called early to say the windows were ready and installed the next day. The installation team were efficient and friendly. Window World exceeded our expectations! the Sales rep was always available and willing to accomodate our requests. The crew was very professional and nice and they did an amazing job, very neat and organized. They cleaned every window after installation and picked up everything after they were done. The jobs was completed in one day, 3 weeks before the expected dateline.
