I have had Travelers for more than 14 years. Yes, they have small increases at times. But, that is a lot less than the increases of the other companies according to friends. My family all use Travelers. They are excellent at paying more than fair on claims that have occured in my family. Lots of companies will give people lower rates only to get you with the company and raise you premium substantially when policy renews. My agent is great. He is independent and shops my rates with several carriers. Travelers always beats the other companies rates. But, you need better than average credit to have the best rates with Travelers.

My car was totaled and Travelers Insurance Claims was excellant! They were helpful in recommending and paying for a rental car while they made the determination on the disposition on my car. They processed my claim quickly and very efficiently and even though my accident occurred at the end of the claims adjusters shift he stayed and processed my claim that evening and called me first thing in the morning to find out where my car had been towed and what my next steps would be. You can’t beat customer service like that these days!
