Train This Dog offers firm, fair rules and structured training you and your dog can live with, enjoy, and use for the rest of their lives. Call and ask how we can help you have the dog you’ve always wanted. After years of working with her own dogs and horses Claudia became a Canine Coach at her local shelter in 2000, helping dogs become more adoptable.

She was accepted to a year long dog training apprenticeship at St. Hubert’s Animal Welfare Center. Upon completing her apprenticeship she began teaching puppy kindergarten and family dog classes. She also started working as ‘second trainer’ in St. Hubert’s internationally known Feisty Fido program for leash reactive dogs. After moving to Georgia Claudia opened Train This Dog, improving behavior and building bonds between people & dogs

Our training sessions with Claudia were excellent. Our very energetic standard poodle puppy learned a great deal and so did we. Many of the things covered in both the puppy class and the next class resulted in improved behavior and a better understanding on our part of how to deal with specific issues. We also benefited from a private lesson and are looking forward to her “manners” class in the fall. Claudia is very patient, willing to answer questions, and help in any way she can. She wants you and your dog to succeed. We highly recommend her!

Claudia was excellent when helping us with our dog we rescued. She trained us more than the dog! She has been available for our questions after the training session ended, and we will definitely use her again for additional training. She has been a critical part of the incorporation of Boomer into our family.

Claudia is an amazing trainer! She is there for the dog as well as the owner and displays the utmost professionalism, understanding, and patience! Her love for animals shows through the great work she does. Maggie (lab), Shooter (Jack Russell), and I love her to death!
