Tony’s at Brentwood was conceived by Antonio “Tony” Bortone. Tony hails from a small town in Italy called Sassano. At the age of 14, Tony immigrated to New York and learned the craft of pizza making in Italian restaurants and Pizzeria. Tony’s love for good food was only matched by his passion for music, so he joined the U.S. Army Band.

Tony retired from the Army in 2011. After his long musical career, Tony decided to open a restaurant which would feature his delicious Pizza and the favorite dishes passed down in his family at an affordable price, resulting in Tony’s at Brentwood.

This is some of the best pizza I have tasted in a long while. Fresh, fresh, ingredients and delicious homemade crust. Small place but big taste! You will love it!

Yesterday I had a taste for pizza I think everyone has one of those days, so I got on Yelp researched pizza restaurants and there it was “Pizza Day”. This restaurant is a little treasure, they have a very nice staff of workers (very attentive) it seems that everyone was smiling even the cook making this atmosphere very inviting. The pizza was awesome and the garlic Parmesan wings were finger licking good!

Tony’s freshly prepared food, the Pizza, the Mozzarella is the real deal and the Chicken Piccata and Shrimp Scampi (soooo many Shrimp)is simply DELICIOUS! I know good taste and this restaurant has it with a capital A +!

My husband is Greek and we can both tell you that this is authentic Greek food. Tasty food, huge portions, great service. We had hand cut fries which were really hand cut from fresh potatoes. I told my hubby I would come there just for a plate of fries next time. We will definitely be back!

I make my pizza from scratch and have been doing that for years because I find chain pizza places serve sub-quality food. This includes the delivery places and Mellow Mushroom. But I have to admit that the pizza at Tony’s is EXCELLENT!!!!!! I also enjoy their Philly Cheese Steak sandwich and their scampi entre. We eat there about once a week. I’ve never had a bad meal there. Even the pizza by the slice is always great. The place is just like a small European restaurant. I love Tony’s’!!!!
