Dr. Barrett, Dr. Paasch and the dedicated Thrive team are thrilled to announce the opening of our brand new, expanded Savannah office. At Thrive Obstetrics & Gynecology, we want to give our patients the care we would want for our mothers, our sisters, our daughters, and ourselves. It is our goal to deliver health care with kindness, compassion, and consideration.

Our approach to care marries the science of modern medicine with the art of listening to each patient’s individual concerns. At Thrive Obstetrics & Gynecology, we believe healthcare is a collaboration between the patient and her provider.

We offer a healthcare alternative that provides our patient with options and encourages her to choose the approach that works best for her life. We want to help our patients to take charge of their own health and feel their best at every age. We want to help them to thrive.

Services

Routine annual gynecologic care, including Pap smear and breast cancer screening
Contraceptive counseling and family planning, including intrauterine contraception such as the Mirena® IUD and ParaGard® IUD (intrauterine device).
Comprehensive obstetric care including the option to deliver vaginally after caesarean section (TOLAC/VBAC)
Comprehensive gynecologic care including surgery with an emphasis on minimally invasive therapies such as endometrial ablation, laparoscopy, and vaginal surgery such as vaginal hysterectomy and laparoscopic-assisted vaginal hysterectomy.
Counseling & care of adolescent and teen patients
Pediatric Gynecology
Evaluation and management of infertility, incontinence, and pelvic floor dysfunction
Counseling and care of women in perimenopause and menopause
Counseling and treatment of female sexual dysfunction (FSD)

My teenage daughter had previously had a benign ovarian cyst removed. I brought her in for her first gynecologic appointment. I wanted to go over her history, future, my concerns. I talked with the dr for about 5 minutes. She said I think we should refer her to a gynecologic oncologist. She told me she would do a pelvic then bring me back after. After they just sent us up front to checkout. I asked the receptionist didn’t she want to speak to me further as she said – she checked and she said the dr. said no, which contradicted her previous statement. I felt rushed, my concerns disregarded. She basically pushed me out and referred me to another doctor. I gathered since they are gynecologists they surely they deal with ovarian cysts. Super disappointed in the lack of concern, and the lack of care and the lack of willingness to look further.

By far the best practice I’ve been too. Every staff member including the doctors are genuine and patient. I tell everyone looking for an obgyn about Doctor. Barrett!

Dr. Barrett took excellent care of me while my doctor was out of town. I felt comfortable and could tell my health was a high priority to her. I even had the opportunity to meet her sister, Dr. Paasch as well, who was also amazing. Her bedside manner and concern for me as a patient was outstanding. I was very blessed to have had her give me such remarkable care. I would HIGHLY recommend her practice to anyone looking for an OBGYN. I do not think anyone could be disappointed given the passion & pride they take in caring for their patients. Such a great duo!

Dr. Barrett is the best! So caring and she actually takes the time out to explain everything thoroughly with me and is always ready to answer any questions I may have. I also like the fact that she remembers me although she sees many patients on a daily basis. The staff is also very friendly and professional.

Dr. Barrett is Amazing, as are the nurses and front staff. Dr. Barrett spends quality time with each patient, reviews issues from last visit before seeing you. She thoroughly makes sure all previous and current concerns are addressed. Before you leave her office she will have all the answers that you want and more. She make you feel incredibly comfortable throughout the entire visit. Her bedside manner, professionalism, passion, and expertise knowledge are all superb! By far the best gynecologist I have ever been to. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an ob/gyno.
