The Ridge draws an eclectic crowd. You can be casual or dressed up and fit in either way. The bar is big, the seating and ambiance are comfortable, and I would consider this restaurant a place to take someone on a special occasion, without busting the budget.

We took friends of ours visiting from out of town, and they are used to fine dining. They liked it. The servers never made us feel rushed, we ordered drinks and didn’t even look at the menu until we decided we were ready to do so. The server was most accommodating.

We always tip at a higher % rate when we sit for a long while in a server’s section because we know that they make their money on tips and if they can’t “turn the table” quickly, they lose money. We compensate for our length of stay.

The food was very good, the prices were what we expected, and I have no complaints about this restaurant. I’m not saying I can afford to eat here every week, but certainly once in a while. And I will certainly bring friends to the Ridge so I can show them that we have what I consider fine dining right here in Cumming, Georgia.

This place is great! Excellent steaks, delicious chicken, and a lobster bisque that is second to none. One certain nights, the entertainment is outstanding!!!

Just went here for the first time on a date with my wife. We have been in cumming for 8 years and have heard great things about the Ridge. We had a steak and my wife had crab cakes. Both meals were great! Service was amazing and prompt. Our server Alexander was awesome! We will be back soon!

Arrived at 5:30 pm with no reservations and was seated right away. Our server Nicky(sp?) was great! she answered all our questions and served us wonderfully. I had the crab cake with the cheese mashed potato (best I’ve had since Boston). My wife had the steak which was very tender and tasty. Would recommend this to my friends, and will certainly return for another great meal.

I have had the pleasure to eat at The Ridge many times. All I can say is WONDERFUL FOOD,STAFF and ATMOSPHERE! The crossaints are to die for, the all you can eat crab legs are amazing, the lobster bisque is rich and tasty, and the steak is probably one of the best I have ever had. Steve, the owner, is there every night and visits every table. Maureen was our server and she was excellent and was very knowledgeable about everything The Ridge had to offer. If you want to have a lovely evening with great food and service, you need to visit The Ridge. I can’t wait to be back!

We were invited to meet some friends at this restaurant which we have driven by numerous times. What a pleasant meal. The fried shrimp was excellent and my wife had a chicken pasta dish which she enjoyed. The loaded baked potato was one of the best I’ve ever tasted. Overall we were quite pleased and would certainly return. The did have entertainment for the older crowd on Friday night. I did see one review where the reviewer referred to “over age people”, perhaps if the Lord is willing he will live long enough to join us.
