Peter Chang has returned to Atlanta with just one thought, opening a new resturant that bears his name and serves authentic Chinese cuisine. Peter Chang is an award winning chef specializing in Szechwan cuisine, he has cooked for several restaurants in the American southeast. Chang was born in Hubei Province and received his training in China.

He has cooked a meal for the current Chinese president, Hu Jintao. He moved to the United States to work as the chef at the Chinese Embassy in Washington, D.C. Chang has become known as the disappearing chef and has inspired groups of fans to follow his movements through Internet discussion boards, such as DonRockwell.com and Chowhound.

Our restaurant is famous for Szechwan food that burst with many flavors; hot and numbing, spicy, sweet and sour. Every dish has its own unique flavor. Szechwan is a Province in the mountainous district in the center of China. The main ingredients of Szechwan food are mountain produce and river fish with red hot peppers, garlic and ginger. We also offer less-spicy food choices for people who do not enjoy spicy dishes.

Best authentic chinese food that can be found. The dan dan noodles are deliciously hot, thw krill spicy wonton soup is second to none and thw bamboo fish is quite possible the best fish entree on the planet.

Stopped by on a Wednesday evening. It seems more like a real Szechuan restaurant than the typical Chinese-American restaurant, with a high proportion of Asian guests. So, I’m guessing that it is close to perfect for those who know what real Szechuan food is. As an appetizer, I got fish and cilantro rolls – six thinly rolled, fried rolls like taquitos and an entree called wudang carbonado. Doesn’t sound Chinese and didn’t google, but tasted Szechuan. It was a plate of thick sliced, lightly stir fried fatty pork, like bacon, in a mild sauce, served with sliced scallions, cilantro leaves and sliced steamed buns. Instructions were to make sandwiches. Service was fine and the place was clean. Best Chinese food outside Buford Highway. Nothing else like it anywhere in Cobb County’s culinary wasteland.

One of the best and most authentic Chinese restaurants in Atlanta. It can get pretty spicy so be prepared. My favorite dish is the dry wok lamb.

Best Chinese restaurant I know anywhere. Try the Dan Dan noodles, and the hot and numbing dry beef.

Great food with a spectacular wait staff. The spices are strong and clay pots run hot! I enjoyed the food and the locals know where to go. Packed to the max. Will be back for more!
