Taqueria Jalisco boasts of being a real Mexcican grill and offers traditional Mexican entrees such as tacos, burritos, sopes, gorditas, quesadillas, tortas, fajitas and soups. The restaurant has been located in the Douglas Commons shopping plaza since 2002. Special items on the menu include the super burrito Texano with steak, chicken and shrimp as well as the steak a la Mexicana with shredded steak, green jalapenos, onions, tomatoes, rice, beans and guacamole salad.

We ordered Fajitas and a 1/2 order of nachos…way too much food for 2 people. They do not skimp on portions or flavor. Not to mention we received a free t-shirt to celebrate. The staff was extremely kind and one of the girls even said she would pray for our safe travel. ☺️

I love their food. Not only is it cost friendly but the portions are big. I enjoy the nachos supreme, the quesadilla, the fresh guacamole and their drinks. I’ve consistently gotten great food whether I dine in or grab the food to go. I’ve eaten here at least 6 times and never had an issue. I also recently dined in and tried the mango and peach daquri which was good and strong. Whenever I’m in the area and I’m craving good authentic Mexican food I come by. They even held a plate for me to go when I called in for the nachos, before they closed one night and it was still delicious. And the customer service was great. I love this place.

This place literally has the best ceviche I’ve had in Georgia, I pretty much come here every other day. The food portions are very large. It’s generally pretty crowded, family oriented environment, highly recommend

Absolutely the best Mexican restaurant in all of Douglasville. Their horchata is to die for! Servers are always friendly. I always leave with a food baby.
