Japanese fusion cuisine was born when Mike Ta, experimenting with sushi composition, impulsively tossed a trumpet solo into his tuna roll. Ta Ca’s laid-back energy extends from within its brightly hued, art-adorned walls to its cozy, oxygen-adorned outdoor patio.

After dinner, further unwind with a drink from the full bar, which boasts many Japanese beers and one of Savannah’s largest sake selections, outside of James Oglethorpe’s oft-talked about secret underground cache of rice wine. Sushi devotees will enjoy the comprehensive and welcoming sushi bar.

Families and large groups can relax at one of the many pleasant dining tables. To complement our menu, we stock a complete bar that includes some of the best Japanese beers and one of the largest sake selections in Savannah.

Ta Ca is located in the heart of Savannah’s historic district in the brand new Oglethorpe shopping center, with an extensive menu that includes both traditional and original Japanese dishes. As they say in Japan, “Irashaimase!” (Welcome!)

Featuring traditional dishes and inspired twists on old favorites, Ta Ca’s menu offers a comprehensive collection of comestibles. Start with the Vietnamese spring rolls or spoon-peel away the onion soup . For the main course, cold-blooded diners can warm up with a bowl of pho.

Herbivoyeurs and carnivoyagers alike can nosh on a hibachi dinner. Sushi selections include the California roll and the Idiot roll , a mix of snow crab, cream cheese, avocado, tempura flakes, and unrealized intellectual potential. Lunch specials are available on weekdays.
