I came to St. Joseph’s/Candler two weeks ago for a toe injury and Dr. Wolf and the whole staff was excellent! I was in and out in under 2 hour’s!!!! And was feeling better as I limped out to get my prescriptions filled. Memorial had me waiting for ten hours gave me aspirin and sent me home with excruciating pain. But St. Joseph’s/Candler took care of me.

You can’t ask for any better care. The Doctors and staff are extraordinary!! Hope I don’t get sick again, but if I do, I know where to go. There are angels at St. Joseph’s/Candler:)

I’ve had 3 children born here (at Mary Telfair Women’s wing), my mother in law and father in law were hospitalized here, and my brother has been an inpatient here twice. The staff is always kind and efficient, and even though things may get hectic as they would in any major city’s hospital, they always see to it that their patients are taken care of.

On October 22, I was admitted into the outpatient care facility at Candler for a routine procedure that went south. While I experienced much pain, along with a tremendous loss of blood throughout this ordeal, I could not have asked for more compassionate, caring help. Nurses Gerri Powell and Amanda Long were truly my angels. Their extra effort made ALL the difference – I don’t know what I would have done without their special care. I was eventually taken back to the O.R. so the doctor could re-evaluate my situation. Afterwards, I was sent to the 4th floor where Shaudra and Jackie took excellent care of me for several days. My grateful appreciation to this hospital and it’s caring staff!
