UPDATE….
The person who responded to my review said to please call or email them for further details. I emailed them and they have NEVER responded to me. Just an FYI.
I had been seeing Dr. Rollins for the past 8 years or so and he was amazing. I started seeing Dr. Smith about a year ago and it has been hell. Without even talking to me and seeing how my current meds and treatments were working she immediately started force tapering me. I am a very compliant patient. Never missed an appointment and never failed a drug test. About a month or so ago I was at my ropes end with my pain so at my last appointment I asked her if she was going to take all of my oral meds and she said YES. That would leave me with only my pain pump. It barely touched my pain. She also told me at my first 3 appointments that she just needed to bring my meds down a bit to show compliance with the DEA she said if it was too much she’d put me back on my regular dose. Needless to say she did not. She’s a liar! She is hands down the worst doctor I’ve ever seen. A pain management doctor who doesn’t actually treat pain. Stay away from this doctor.

Does anyone know why the pain clinic closed? I called to reschedule my appointment with Dr. Singleton three days before my appointment and, they told me i couldn’t because the office was closing. I had to scramble to find a new pain doctor.
Not only did they not contact me to let me know this was happening but they also, didn’t help me find a new doctor. I could sue for malpractice and negligence. You can’t just stop the medicines he prescribed cold turkey, without titrating down because of the high dosages. It can cause death if not handled properly.
I am very angry at how Doctor Smith and Doctor Singleton have handled my case and driven this once great pain clinic into the ground. Doctor Sheehan and Doctor Rollins were the greatest doctors and it’s so sad how the owners of the practice made them leave and left us with the other horrible doctors.

Dr. Rollins and all of the staff at this office have always been very kind and caring about how I am doing and they have wonderful bedside manner. I have had radiofrequency ablation for lower back pain and they did a wonderful job with that and the pain management I’ve needed for my lumbar spine from a previous surgery from a different Doctors office and hospital. Every time that I’ve been to the office I was seen on time or even early and have only had to wait one time and that was for less than 30 minutes when they were extremely busy. I have arrived early for my appointments many times and if they have a chance they even see me before my appointment which is very convenient if you have other things scheduled during the day. This seems to be a problem with many other doctors offices that you check in and are not seen at your scheduled time, then when you finally get seen by the doctor they rush you through. With Dr Rollins and his staff they are very punctual without making you feel like just another number they make you feel cared for and take their time with you when needed. I have given them five stars which I rarely do on these reviews but they have earned the five stars for their Patient Service and knowledge.

The doctors and nurses are wonderful. I honestly don’t know how I could have survived the pain if I had not seen Dr. Clinegan. I was in such agony that I could not walk. One epidural gave me immediate relief. She knew exactly where to place the needle !! Since then, I have had to have more but the shots last several months. Dr. Rollins is also wonderful. They both inspire hope. I’ve never had a back problem until I twisted when hit by a wave at the beach. This led to finding a cyst on my spine and since then my life has changed forever. God bless these wonderful doctors !! Apps. are scheduled quickly and the wait time is minimal. I’m usually out in an hour even though I have anesthesia.

Dr. Kevin Sheahan is a wonderful Dr., Dr. Mary and Dr. Joe are great also. Used for many years, highly recommend. Your not just a number when you go through the door. They will do what’s right for you, even if you don’t always agree, they will listen and work with you. I trust all of them 100% as this is their area of expertise. If your looking for a Dr. in the Atl. there is no one better! They also have a surgery center on location.

This practice is fantastic! They are not just pill doctors. I had to have a referral and MRI of my back before they would see me. Dr. Rollins and the staff listen to you and make treatment plans with you. They spend the time with you to work on old and new problems if they crop up. They can be depended on to really care for you.
The recommendation from an MD at Resurgens Orthopedics was spot on.
