Welcome to Skogie’s on Lake Lanier! Skogie’s offers fantastic food and a relaxed atmosphere which is a favorite of boaters on Lake Lanier. Skogies on Lake Lanier is a premier lakeside dining experience.

We offer indoor and outdoor dining lakeside at the Gainesville Marina. Whether you visit us by boat and use are courtesy dock or visit us by land, you will find our Gainesville Marina location easy to get to.

We are open all year long. The public is welcome! Watch your favorite college or NFL game on one of our 7 Big Screen HD televisions. There’s nothing better than good food and cold drinks after a great day on the lake.

From Skogie’s famous grouper sandwich to hush puppies, salads, burgers, seafood gumbo, and sandwiches we have something on the menu for everyone, and we serve it all in a laid back, relaxed atmosphere with beautiful lake views.

Enjoy dining outside on our covered patio during the lazy summer months or have a seat at a table with a great view in our heated and cooled dining room. Seating includes inside, patio and outside picnic tables. Outside picnic tables are PET FRIENDLY!!

We will also come pick you up by golf cart from our courtesy dock or marina. Been out on the lake all day and need some great food? Stop on by or give us a call at (678) 450-1310. We will deliver takeout to your boat at the Gainesville Marina. Come check out our famous grouper sandwich!

We had a great meal here this evening! Our appetizer was out less than 5 minutes after we ordered it. The Crab Cake BLT was awesome too! Great food and super service!

We were more than pleasantly surprised with this hole in the wall place! Surrounded by water with great views, the food actually became the star. The gumbo was as good as I’ve ever eaten. Home made hush puppies, Mac and cheese and tarter sauce were perfect. My husbands grouper was light and flaky w a huge portion. We cleaned our plates. The exterior and interior are very worn and rustic but fitting for a dock style restaurant. Service was perfect! We will definitely be back!

Delicious food! Best coconut shrimp I’ve had since living in Hawaii. Husband had burger and sweet potato tots which were just as good. Sweet staff, perfect atmosphere. Headed on a stroll around the lake. We will be back soon!

The grouper is awesome but the hushpuppys are from mars they are crispy and yummy and fun all wrapped up in a golf ball size tasty ball of yummyness. Personally I have only ordered the grouper fried on a plate, Fried on a hogie, blackened and coconut fried all were amazing . The fries are fresh cut and have this shaved salt omg. I have herd the skogie burger is amazing but can’t get past the grouper

We have enjoyed the cuisine on two occasions. The first time we dined in and the second time we carried out to enjoy our meal on the boat. Love the menu and experience!
