This restaurant is an absolute jewel. Unfortunately it’s a hidden jewel due to it’s location just behind a few buildings and next to a hotel. I say unfortunately only because if they were directly on the main highway and more visible this place would probably be packed. Access to the restaurant is actually pretty easy with pretty well their own entrance right off Buford Highway and beside the Lowe’s store. I’ve tried most of their food and it’s all terrific and freshly made. Their regular egg rolls are absolutely to die for. There’s a spice they put in that gives it a distinct flavor that I can’t get enough of. I pushed the owner hard to know but he was pretty tight lipped. Restaurant is large with lots of open room…never a wait. Owners are a husband and wife team (I believe) and they are very proud of what they do. They go out of their way to solicit customer opinion…they have with us. Price is very reasonable and portions are generous. While I love spicy foods and will ask them to make things spicier (and they will) I am a huge fan of their Moo Goo Gai Pan.
Lots of thinly sliced chicken breast with loads of vegetables in a light sauce (not at all spicy). While I’m not a huge sushi fan my girlfriend is and she raves just about everything their sushi chef makes. I have to admit the few pieces I do try are pretty good and the presentation is very artistic. The chef is clearly proud of what he does. A review I read mentioned poor service with a more middle aged server and I’ve been there enough to know who’s being referred to. I don’t see her very often and in fact she may no longer be there. The other servers are warm, welcoming and good at watching the tables and water glasses. Remember what I said about the owners….they take active roles on the floor attending to their customers. Oh, and the bar and selection is pretty robust. They are proud of their wine selection. Outstanding dishes for me are Moo Goo Gai Pan, Sesame Chicken, General Tso’s Chicken and Cashew Chicken. Also the Tien Tsin Beef is very good. Don’t hesitate anytime you’re in Cumming.

I loved everything my hubby and I ordered : chicken egg rolls, spring rolls, basil chicken fried rice (too spicy food my taste) and chicken lo mein. Everything was seasoned well. There’s nothing bad I have to say about this place.. Which is weird for me. I guess that shows how impressed I was with their food.

We picked up a few items for take out and it was all delicious. They had it ready in less than 15 minutes. The portions were very generous and everything tasted fresh. We will definitely be back!!!
