Saseen Bonding was founded in 1922 by Freda and Isaac Saseen in the Saseen Grocery Store at Price and McDonough Streets in downtown Savannah. In 1932 the bail bonding company moved to Oglethorpe and Habersham, across from the City of Savannah police station and jail.

Bonds were issued for many years by brothers Robert and Eddie Saseen, sons of Freda and Isaac Saseen . The office moved to Montgomery Street, across from the new Chatham, County Jail in 1980. Montgomery street remained the bail bonding company home for 25 years. Today, the bail bonds are provided by the third generation of the Saseen family, Rob White and Johnny Ranitz, Freda and Isaac Saseen’s grandsons.

In 2007 Saseen Bonding moved to the current location on Carl Griffin Drive, just steps from the Chatham County Detention Center.

In 1999, the bail bondsmen purchased Akins Bail Bonds in Statesboro, Georgia and continue to manage the bonding company today. The bail bonding grandsons opened Saseen Bonding of Effingham in 2007.
