On February 10, 1987, the American dream for two immigrants, Sam Seyedahmadian and Rosco Sayyar and their families, became a reality and the first fine dining restaurant, Sam and Rosco’s formerly Aldo’s Italian Restaurant, in Douglasville opened its doors.

From the very beginning, Sam and Rosco made a promise to always offer fresh food, outstanding service, elegant ambiance, reasonable pricing and a great dining experience in every visit. Also, from the beginning we made a promise to be involved in our community in order to make it a better place for present and future residents of this great county.

Since then, we have always kept our promise. Numerous awards (Douglas County Sentinel’s Reader’s Choice Award: Best of the Best in atmosphere and Italian cuisine for 2011 and 2011 Business Leader Magazine Top 300 Small Business in Southeast United States), a clean operation, continued business despite some hard times and our continued civic participation in community affairs are a testament to our commitment to Douglasville, its citizens and our guests.

My initial visit was for a seminar for educational purposes and the food was excellent!!! I went on a second time for my 7th wedding anniversary and the food was the same, EXCELLENT, Wonderful, YUMMY to my tummy. The place is always clean, intimate, and soothing music to hear while you wine and dine. The service was great, atmosphere friendly and professional. Two thumbs up!!!

Have been here a couple times and it is awesome. White table cloths, dim lights. Very romantic. Food is great and the wait staff really takes care of you. All around great experience.

Came here for a surprise belated 60th birthday dinner for my aunt. They were very accommodating with our cake and balloons. Dinner was great, everything was tasty and the price was reasonable for the atmosphere. Glad I didn’t pay attention to some of the reviews. Will definitely return.
