Hey, this is the diamond! If you want actual Mexican food, it’s great and it’s not expensive as hell. Why five stars you ask. I had to zoom in on my google maps just to make sure I reviewed this place. Why? Because more people need to check this place out.
Diamond Food, I mean it’s so great. I ordered the Torta al pastor with egg, and it’s genius AF. My Bae wanted Chicken Tamales and she loved it. The price is spot on and it’s great.
Speedy service, I went here on my lunch break. I took my and my gf there and the service was super duper fast, I only get 45 minutes for my lunch, and I wasn’t late getting home.
Great customer service, my drink was always full, the server took good care and a decent atmosphere, now it’s not the quietest joint but the people are welcoming! Had a nice conversation with a table to the left to me. Very good experienced placed in a little strip mall.

Everything we got was fantastic. Ingredients were fresh. I got the tamale wrapped in a banana leaf. Someone ordered the Burrito Texan (Not sure if that is exactly how it is listed on the menu). The chicken soup was so flavorful. Service was wonderful. Really, really, really good. Very much worth a visit.

I tried this little restaurant in a strip mall just outside of downtown Fayetteville and was really impressed! When I walked in it was full and I noticed the huge portions on the plates of the diners eating there. They brought me warm, fresh chips and a delicious homemade salsa that I would expect at a good mexican restaurant.
They have a large menu with several pages that includes many specials and the standard “combinations” section you would expect. However, don’t miss the last page of the menu! The last page has traditional items not found on most mexican restaurant menus. With some help from my server, I ordered from this page.
I had the Huaraches with carnitas and a Tamales verde with pollo. It took a little longer than your typical combination meal but it was well worth the extra 10 minutes. From what I can tell, they made the corn tortilla for the huaraches while I waited. I could see where the edges were hand-pinched and shaped. It filled the whole plate and was covered in a deep layer of carnitas. This was a meal by itself. The carnitas on the huaraches was delicious!
The tamale was large and filled a full length corn husk. It was homemade and freshly steamed. The chicken and green chiles were delicious and the masa flour was moist and flavorful.
Overall, I had a great experience at this restaurant and will definitely come back to try more items on the menu. I saw several items delivered to tables around me that I didn’t recognize including a huge stone crock that was full of wonderfully sizzling and bubbling fare! I can’t wait to try that one!
A couple of other important items to note. The food was seasoned really well and was not overly salty. Too much salt in the food is pretty common at many of the mexican restaurants where I have dined but that is not the case at Sabor. Another important note is the price of the food. I would have expected to pay a premium for homemade traditional mexican specialties. I received enough food to feed two people and my whole bill for dinner was just under $10 before tax and tip! I ordered water as my drink but that was still an amazing price for the quality and amount of food I received! Hurry up and try this place before word gets out and you’ll need to make reservations!

Ordered through yelp, by the time I arrived which was maybe 10 minutes after I placed the order, my food was ready. The people were friendly and the food was great! I got the chimichanga lunch with beef. Very flavorful and cheesy. Definitely recommend.

Sensational! Wonderful service from start to finish, and their pricing is excellent. Mom had fish, I had a spicy burrito, and Dad had a ceviche dish. Each was served quickly. Portions are a bit big, so we all brought something home. 2-3 hours later I can tell you we no longer have leftovers! My only knock is their salsa, it needs something more, maybe some cilantro..? Please go, you will enjoy it.
