The story of Roadrunner Cafe begins back in 2004 when brothers Randy and Charlie Sconyers started to talk about the lack of good Augusta GA restaurants that provide delicious food consistently to all their guests. What started as a simple discussion went on to become a brainstorming session that mapped out what they needed to do to create a quality restaurant in Augusta. By aiming towards starting a restaurant where people could come and enjoy delicious food in a casual atmosphere regardless of their age, the brothers opened Roadrunner Cafe!

Charlie and Randy Sconyers were observing the number of quality restaurants in the South Augusta area. During their discussions, they decided to name the cafe “Roadrunner Cafe” as it is located directly opposite Coyotes, making a direct reference to the popular cartoon series, “The Road Runner Show.” Keeping their sights firmly set on the quality of their food, the brothers realized that if they wanted to make delicious food at reasonable prices, they would need to perfect every step of the process. That is why the staff at Roadrunner Cafe creates most of the foods from scratch, always ensuring the best quality.

Hosting a party is not for the faint-hearted. You will need to send invites, plan events, pick music, and not to mention, food! But when it comes to event catering there’s no need to fear when Roadrunner Cafe is here! I love this place! There is plenty of food on the menu and on the plate. You will not need to get seconds. Almost forgot, the onion rings are the best on this side of town. Be sure to try the fried mushrooms, burgers, and I’ve heard the steak is amazing

Went to restaurant because of a 20% off entire ticket coupon. My mom got the board troop I got the ribeye steak sandwich , sour cream and chives fries. All of it was very good and the ribeye sandwich was bigger than what I thought it would be.

Came in on Sunday around 2pm. The atmosphere was low key and casual, service excellent and the food, I had the 8oz ribeye, was delicious. Would definitely recommend.

I’ve being coming here for sometime. I have eat everything on the menu. My favorite meal is the road runner burger, wing and catfish. The wing and catfish are the best two dishes I’ve ever had. If you love to play keno, stop on by and have some fun while drinking a cold one with some good food. The inside is surrounded with tv for your entertainment. The people who eat there are friendly and welcoming. Staff is very friendly. Come on by and enjoy some great wings.

My family and I we love roadrunner the food is wonderful some of the best in town the service is right on and the atmisfear is nice you can go during the day time and it’s nice and layed back or at night and enjoy the music or the game whatever is happening. they also have a deck where when the weather is nice it’s wonderful. I give them the highest rating I can give there really is something for everyone.
