Great service and food. Local seafood. Started out with calamari which they cut up and cook themselves. I had the crab and flounder over linguine pasta with asparagus. My husband had crab cakes over mash potatoes and asparagus. I had a glass of merlot wine and my husband had Tybee Island beer. Our waiter was wonderful. He cared about where the food came from and liked what we had to say about the area.

We chose this restaurant after walking all along the riverfront reading menus and we are so glad we did. We had a table where we could look out at the river and watch boat traffic, which was a bonus. Our server, Aaron, was quick and attentive and the food was great. My husband, the crab lover, had a lobster and crab bisque–delicious–and crab cakes that were all crab, not filler. But I’m the one who really lucked out. I ordered the shrimp and grits and oh my! You know those moments when you’re already full but you don’t want to stop? Well, that was me, because the blend of soft, sautéed vegetables and country ham and blackened shrimp over parmesan grits was truly one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. And darn it. They wouldn’t give me the recipe.

The food, service, and presentation was excellent. Also my Tom Collins was very enjoyable with a refreshing twist of a sweet orange.
We did not have any reservations but we were taken promptly to be seated. Our server was very attentive and not over bearing. She was knowledgeable of the menus as well. I had a crab cake in which was good. I would have like some bigger lumps of crab in the crab cake but it was a good flavor with the sirachach slashed on the plate. We had the catch of the day – it was Alfredo based pasta with lobster and the mahi mahi grilled on top. It was made perfectly. We also had the mahi mahi sliders. The mahi mahi sat on little soft buns with fresh crisp cole slaw. We enjoyed the sliders as well. I appreciated this spots fresh fish and bring easily accessible.

Had the Savannah Red Rice Paella – with so much shrimp, fish and at least a dozen clams, I had to ask for a styro-to-go! My wife started with the Lobster & Lump Crab Bisque. Speechless. Then enjoyed the Blue Crab Stuffed Flounder – Menu said, “A Savannah favorite” Why yes, yes it is! No room for the tempting dessert, even though our server, Justine, really was very pleasantly persuasive. Mark it down–this place is a keeper!

Shrimp and grits were amazing and I have been dreaming about the fried green tomatoes since my visit. Super good and very good service!
