Every so often I come back home to Columbus, Georgia and my wife and I run to this place. It’s the most saught after barbecue I can think of in the south. The ribs are to die for and they never seem to have enough (lol). As far as I’m concerned, this place is the best, one and only, barbecue place within 375 miles of my home in the panhandle of Florida. I wish the owners would expand and send their people down here to open one up here in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. Great sandwiches, cut, chopped, or sliced pork , slow smoked ribs, and cole slaw. Just the basic BBQ place like everyone needs at least once a week. Love it.

They have extremely good Brunswick stew and I absolutely love their BBQ sandwiches. Best BBQ in town. Their boston butts are delicious too!

I often go on Saturdays as it’s my weekly “cheat day”, but they never disappoint. The ribs are superb. They’re smoked and never burnt. The chicken is also great and never dry, as some smoked chicken tends to be. The sides are delicious, and I recommend the baked beans, potato salad and lima beans. The sauces are catered to your tastes, or you can just savor the taste of the great smoked meat. Either way, you can’t go wrong. If you want the chicken, go early as they tend to run out later in the day, but that’s partially my fault. I recommend because I’m early enough to get it. I’d say more but I need to get there now.

Best in town by far. As a long time resident it is the best BBQ open today. Meats are always fresh and moist! Sauces are tasty and if you like hot they got that too. From Chicken or ribs to the Boston butts it can’t be beat.
