I have been to Murphy’s several times and the food doesn’t disappoint and is always great. However, our server, Ross, was absolutely exceptional. He made our experience tonight. I brought one of my closest friends for the first time. Thank you so much Ross! We will definitely be back!

This restaurant is amazing! Everything is farm to table the prices are great considering the quality and quantity. My boyfriend and I ordered the salmon and the brisket dishes ($22-$23 per dish). The brisket was some of the best I’ve ever had! It was so tender is basically melted in your mouth. The salmon was cooked beautifully and the free beans I got as a side were delicious. The staff was very pleasant too! Great experience. We will definitely be back!

Had brunch today! Absolutely loved it!
My husband and I love splitting things that we get so we can try more than one thing… We split the Portobello Frittata & Eggs Virginia Highland! Both were great! We would 1000% the Eggs Virginia Highland again!!! Next time we would get the toppings of the frittata in an omelette instead!! Loved the goat cheese, pesto and sun dried tomatoes but I think we are more of an omelette fan!
Can’t wait to come back for the Avocado Toast.

Nice ambiance + great service + consistently great food = a restaurant I bring Atlanta visitors to.
I won’t go into much detail about all that we’ve ordered, as the menu changes seasonally. Instead, I will say that we have been seated in all areas of the restaurant in the 5 times we’ve visited, and we’ve ordered different dishes every time; we have never been disappointed by the food or the service. When family and friends visit us in Atlanta, we bring them to Murphy’s for dependably good food, knowing that there will be something on the menu to please everyone. We even took our whole family here for my husband’s grad-school graduation, and I was absolutely surprised and pleased that every.single.person loved their meal; that NEVER happens in my family.
In my world, this is all high praise. We rarely re-visit restaurants, as there are so many places to try in Atlanta, but Murphy’s is the exception that proves the rule. It’s well worth your time to try it.

A staple Atlanta brunch spot. The food was delicious. I got the egg Benedict with potatoes. Just keep in mind that restaurants don’t serve liquor before 11:00 am on Sunday’s. We got up early to beat the brunch crowd and was surprised that there was no wait. We quickly realized why once we asked for the drink menu. However the NA drinks and food were so good that it ended up no even mattering.

My bff suggested we find a place to get great mimosas. She said let’s go to Murphy’s and once again it DID NOT disappoint. The food was amazing and the service was excellent. Yasmine made sure we had everything we needed and even great conversation. I will definitely come back again and again for brunch.

It’s been a while since I have been in Virginia Highlands, but we stopped in for brunch on Saturday and I forgot what an amazing brunch they have on the weekends. The food choices were many and service was excellent. And, the on street parking was super easy(the city took out all those parking meters on the street).I will definitely be back!

Absolutely love this Atlanta staple! Great service with an atmosphere that is the perfect blend of cozy & sophisticated. But the main reason for this five star review is the impact the new Executive Chef has made on the menu. He has revived the classic dishes Murphy’s is known for & has broadened the menu with delicious culinary fare. Go for brunch, lunch or dinner and you will not be disappointed!

It had been a long while since I had been to Murphy’s and it was even as incredible as I remember. The food was excellent and the service was even better. Yasmine was taking care of us and she made the experience even more enjoyable. From the recommendations to the attentiveness she showed us throughout our visit was what made the experience exceptional. She was sweet, she was funny, she was thoughtful. So good I’m going back the next day.
