The ribs are the best I have ever had. The brisket chili is to die for. I have never had a bad meal at Moonies. The flavor is different from any other BBQ I have had. I highly recommend Moonies to everyone.

Well folks. This one takes the cake. (although I don’t eat sweets) The company I work for took us out to eat for a break in our day long meeting and took us to Moonie’s Texas Barbecue. When we walked in the building, the smell told me I was not going to be disappointed…and my nose was NOT wrong! I have seriously not had a better meal of barbecue since I lived near Memphis, TN. This place was simply stated, AMAZING! The brisket was to die for! I can’t say I’ve had a more tender or flavorful barbecue (not to mention the sizable portion) in many many years. DON’T MISS THIS…even if you’re just passing through the area. You will NOT be disappointed. (and no – I don’t work there. I’m just one very happy customer…

This is a slice of Texas in Georgia. All I can say is WOW! The jalapeƱo sausage is great; the brisket is juicy (try the burnt ends) and wonderful; and the ribs are perfect. While the sauces are good, who needs them when the meat is this good. Even the sides are good! And the decor is pure Texas. We will definitely be back!

I’m a big BBQ man, very hard to please, before ordering anything, I want to look at it. well they showed me their ribs, nice piece of meat, and sold by the lb. The ribs were spiced right and had a good smoke. Now I have passed this place for 2 years on my way home and never stopped….. It’s worth a drive to Flowery Branch, Ga.. better then driving to Austin, Texas for great BBQ……

We decided to try this place because of the reviews, and thank goodness we did! My husband and I are skittish about trying new restaurants, especially barbecue, because we are a bit picky about barbecue especially. But the moment we arrived we could smell the smoke and it gave us hope. We both ordered a rib plate with baked beans and we split a half pound of brisket. I also had the Brunswick stew. The ribs were huge and very meaty. Perfectly cooked with just the right amount of smoke. We had the Texas Red Sauce, which was sweet and spicy but not super thick. The meat and sauce made this our favorite barbecue place by far! We will definitely be back!
