Very good food, great service, and atmosphere. If you are wanting to be in and out in a hurry, I would recommend going somewhere else. If you are looking for great food, this is the place. The bar staff is excellent.

We stopped in at longhorn on our way from Alabama to South Carolina, sat next to a couple at the bar and asked about mama Lucia’s. They highly recommended it. So on our way back to Alabama we stopped at mama Lucia’s. We were so excited as it lived up to our hopes and was absolutely delicious!! We started off with the aracini di riso and mozzarella caprese. I had the tortellini tricolore as my main course and my wife had chicken florentina with parmesan encrusted chicken. We finished off with creme brulee. Crystal the waitress was patient, knowledgeable, and just overall outstanding. We will definitely stop again on our way to Atlanta.

My husband and I love this restaurant! We typically come here when we want to enjoy a nice long dinner with a bottle of wine. I’ve gotten pasta dishes and a couple of the chicken entrees and I have never been disappointed. My husband usually gets a heavy meat dish and eats every bite! The service is always friendly. However, this is the kind of place where you come to spend time together, not eat and run. We’ve never had a complaint and have eaten here many times.

Had a late Friday afternoon lunch and finally decided to try. Everyone was very friendly. Since the time we went was before the Friday dinner crowd, it was not crowded. Authentic Italian and everything was delicious. Wish I could remember our server’s name cuz she was excellent. A must try !!
