Welcome to Los Charros, the oldest Mexican restaurant in town and home of the famous annual Cinco de Mayo celebration! Come join us and discover the freshness of real Mexican food. At Los Charros, you’ll find a fun atmosphere, friendly staff, great food and low prices. Los Charros Mexican Restaurants are family owned by the well known Willie Bravo family.

The Bravo family moved to Covington, Georgia in 1985 and opened the original Los Charros Mexican Restaurant in Conyers in 1986. Willie and Tina Bravo have been in business for 24 years, with the help of their 6 children, Jose, Carlos, Ruben, Michael, George and Christina. The Bravo family opened a 2nd location in March 2003 (Honey Creek) and a 3rd location in May of 2006 (Hwy 138).

Each restaurant is still operated by the Bravo family. Los Charros is proud to have the friendliest and fastest service in town. Our servers will make you feel like part of the family. Love their food. My favorite is shrimp tacos or the carne asada. If you ever get the chance to be served by Justino, he is the best. The food is always hot and fresh. The service is always real decent. I’m not a huge fan of Thursday karaoke. But that would be my only complaint. It’s a very clean restaurant with good service and good food.

I love Los Charros. The price is excellent and they have a large choice of food items. Very authentic Mexican food. The authentic tacos are the best. They are made with steak instead of ground beef. The bring a side of cilantro, onions and salaa verde. They have keoroke on Friday nights playing salsa music. Great environment for kids.

We always get the vegetarian quesadilla because it’s so good and full of flavor with the vegetables and cheese sauce combination.
