As a father, husband, and attorney, Lisa and her colleagues Julie and Amber are outstanding professionals and good people to call upon in your time of (in my case) urgent estate needs. What really stood out to me as an attorney was Lisa’s direct, compassionate, and professional delivery of her services in light of my mother’s critical illness, even going so far as being flexible with her firm’s scheduling so we can handle my mom’s affairs. While I only have been practicing law for about 7 years compared to Lisa’s three decades, her practice is top quality in addition to her experience.
I wished I had used her firm (for my own personal estate planning) over another local lawyer who left me with a sour, unprofessional, impression after everything was finalized even if they did everything correctly for the same price.
I also want to give Julie a special shoutout for her superb courtesy and work ethic getting everything tied down so quicky. I hope this endorsement is a clear signal to others to GET YOUR AFFAIRS IN ORDER and to use Lisa Shippel Law to get it done quickly and fairly.

Six weeks ago, we closed a very complex real estate deal that included my company (A) borrowing money and executing loan docs from two separate lenders (B & C) and then simultaneously lending those proceeds to Lisa’s client (D) so they could acquire 70 acres of land in Georgia for a large development. While Lisa was not my attorney nor for the other two lenders, I must say how impressed I was with the way she represented the borrower (D) on their first large commercial real estate loan. After all documents were signed and Lisa as the escrow agent had all the money (seven figures) securely held in escrow, the land owner (E) selling to her client (D) refused to sign over the deed. In a flash, all three loans . . . from very large bank B, very large insurance risk expert C, and handsome real estate entrepreneur A . . . and the entire transaction would have been blown up with lawsuits forthcoming had Lisa Shippel not protected all parties so carefully and directed all the lenders, borrowers and attorneys with such professionalism, common sense and respect. Do not trust crazy old land owner E, but definitely trust Lisa Shippel and her entire team when seeking legal counsel on important, sensitive or risky matters.

We recently closed a buyout of an existing franchise with Lisa and she was able to navigate through the various parties involved and their respective attorneys and get this deal closed in a unbelievably quick, efficient and painless manner. I would highly recommend Lisa and her firm for any real estate or business related matter as she will get it done at a very fair rate!!

Lisa Shippel was recommended to us by couple of friends who were already her clients. We had a DYI last will & trust from years ago and were looking to professional help to have a proper version as per state where we reside. From the initial phone call, the staff was extremely courteous and prompt in answering our questions. Lisa Shippel’s Law firm also responds equally fast through emails. Lisa initially met us on the appointed date and time. This was in no way a rushed process. She addressed all our concerns in a timely manner. What I appreciated most was the suggestions she made for our last will. We didn’t have to take it. But the suggestions made perfect sense when I thought about them over the coming days. For someone like me, who is not adept at legal verbiage, Lisa Shippel seemed very approachable not throwing in my face, words I didn’t know meanings for.
After several back & forth emails and phone calls to answer my questions, we met Lisa again during the final draw of the documents. Once again, we had a pleasant experience at her offices.
All in all, going to Lisa for our last will and trust was the best choice we made. I’d definitely go to her law offices again, if need be. I have to also mention that getting our last will done by Lisa’s legal firm did not break our bank. Charges were will within our budget and expectations.
