So I had a situation with Department of labor where I was approved for benefits due to the Covid emergency rule and a previous employer, not implementing proper Covid procedures, and also having a child who is very susceptible to the virus and later regional came back and said, I was not eligible for benefits, demanding payback for all the benefits received. During the duration of the year I was receiving unemployment benefits, Greg Fidlon came in, and represented me during the hearing in which case the hearing officer denied me yet again Greg came in and responded to the border review and an appeal, and we won the appeal and the decision was reversed. We are extremely pleased if you have any issues with the department of labor, especially during the time of the pandemic Greg Fidlon is your go to he’s very responsive and answers all questions and sets all expectations. He simply is the very best at what he does!

I would like to express my sincere thanks to Attorney Fidlon. He was the only attorney who personally returned my call. He was very knowledgeable of my case and gave his professionally advice and gave me an effective solution. I filled out the free consultation as instructed. I called days later and left a voicemail. Mr. Fidlon returned my call and talked things over with me(he didn’t have to return my call since consultation was filled out). My situation did not qualify after he went over things with me. He was very knowledgeable and professional. A couple days later Mr. Fidlon called me because he saw my free consultation filled out also. I reminded him we had talked on the phone previously. This just shows his firm goes through the complete process. Even though my case didn’t qualify, he still spared some time he wasn’t paid for. I will be returning if I need some assistance.

I spoke with Mr. Fidlon today and while they were not able to assist me with my issue with an overpayment, he was thorough and took the time to explain the situation and outcome with with me. I appreciate it because he could have just took my money for services but he was honest and upfront about what the law states and the policies of unemployment agencies. I really appreciate the time and effort he gave even though there was nothing he could provide at the time for me.

Knowledgeable, Honest and Efficient Attorney
I contacted Greg Fidlon to have a consultation about my Unemployment Benefit case because I had to appeal the determination and after two years, I received the hearing notification. He was so honest and explained to me the difficulty in winning my case. I decided to hire him to represent me and because of his legal expertise and professionalism during the Appeal Hearing, the determination of the disqualification was reversed, and I was entitled to unemployment insurance benefits.

I received notice from the Department of Labor that my old employer was appealing my unemployment benefits from 3 years ago. I had no idea what to do, so I did my research on unemployment lawyers. After some extensive research and a phone consultation with Mr. Fidlon, I knew this was the right firm. Greg understood my concerns and knew exactly what to do without hesitation.
During the hearing Greg Fidlon was a rock star and covered all of my concerns and the law substantially against the other party. I do not believe I could have done this on my own. I was referred to Fidlon Legal by a friend that used Greg several years ago after having a situation at my last job. I felt that I was treated wrong, legally, by my former employer. I did interview other lawyers to handle my case and ultimately chose Greg Fidlon. I chose Greg because he saw my complaint from a legal standpoint and believed that I had a case. The fact that he asked pertinent, direct questions to get the information he needed without wasting my time or his. He also didn’t drag anything out which from a financial standpoint was much appreciated.
Greg is no nonsense, direct and to the point. At first I wasn’t sure what to think but after several conversations and interactions with Greg I really appreciated getting all the information that he needed to complete the paperwork to start and finish my case. I had only one specific outcome that I was looking for that did not revolve around any monetary request. Once he started my case, he worked very quickly and efficiently to present demands to my former employer and to then come to a timely agreement and settlement that was in my favor.
End the end Greg was able to win my case! I did get what I wanted PLUS SOME! The unexpected results that occured in the result of my settlement was a very pleasant surprise.

Call Greg NOW to represent you in your GDOL appeal! I learned the hard way and waited until after! He immediately responded to my request for help to appeal to the Board of Review and gave me a wealth of information regarding the process as well as legal advice. Greg made the whole process of my hearing and unemployment case so simple. He is professional, and very understand of issues relating to why I had sought out legal counsel/representation.
